The Wright Flyer I, to which the Schreiber model corresponds, was built in 1903 by the brothers Wilbur and Orville Wright and is considered the first powered aircraft. It was 6.43 m long, had a wingspan of 12.29 m and a total weight of approx. 340kg. The wings alone had a total area of 47.4 m².
