Spice up an old PC
I have a 7 year old PC that i originally built with a Core 2 Duo processor. I wanted to speed it up a little without having to change the motherboard. It was and is the best old cpu that works as it should
I was a building study computer with some second handle motherboard , case, power supply, hard drive, there was no CPU's so I checked via motherboard web site to see what it took I had always builded core 2 duo so I saw that the motherboard supported Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 3 GHZ 12MB Socket 775 so I checked on ebay and found one for a good price, it came quite quickly and was fitted very quickly.
