WOW (in a bad way)
This early view into the author's um…mindset, pov, whatever--is stunning. In all the bad ways. Sophomoric, sexist, amateurish. Mildly suspenseful, mildly. The nerve of a man, writing from the perspective of a woman, when he clearly has a lot of disdain for real women. A lot. The book has dumb errors too. "You're body" i.e. "your body". I started to read Harlan Coban books about eight years ago, and have not stopped since. I didn’t even know this particular book existed until I look back over my list of his books and I didn’t realize that this particular book was his first novel. I can’t wait to finish reading it.
