  • Very easy lighting from wood stove to campfire - even in the rain!

Very good quality fatwood in a convenient box. With the local Scouts, recently started an outside fire in snow and wind with only one stick to prime the tinder, worked perfectly. The sticks can also be split in two, lengthwise, for wood stove fire lighting where you do not have to deal with wind or rain. Excellent value for money! +++

  • Excellent Expensive Fatwood

This is high quality fatwood. This is about the best you can get these days. Orvis used to offer 13.6 kg for £35.00 (£2.57 per kilo) until about 2018. This is £11.11 per kilo, but, luckily, you don't need a lot of it to get your fire started. When I say good value, I mean good value for now, here in the UK. It is even more expensive from other suppliers.

  • Good quality and value, resin sticks for lighting fire in damp conditions.

I'm a scout leader and although dont really need it to start fire, as there are cheaper alternatives, none of the cheaper alternatives smell as good when they burn nor give out the high heat level needed when lighting in damp conditions.

  • Good fire starter

It is rigid, hard to break just with hands, but once the fire got it started, it drops fire from the rasine, burn without much smoke and burns completely within about 5 min with big flames. To start fire, you either need to split it more, or get some normal lighters, not just a few matches.
