Although this is now quite dated, and looks it, it is a lot more robust than modern printers. One of the early photoprinters it produces high quality prints at relatively low cost, especially when married up with a CISS continuous ink supply system, which is easy to install on this printer. I hated the look of printer when I first bought one (this is my second!) but having owned a flimsy shiny black plastic thing in between, have learned to appreciate the dreadnought characteristics of this one.
Would not work at all.

Firstly my Hp Photosmart All-in-One printer/copier/scanner packed up a short while after the warranty expired...some problem with the ink pump, but it would have cost a standard minimum of £128 PLUS VAT for service/replacement with recon unit. I was outraged, and annoyed with HP, BUT I realises=d that the ink cartidges were full and that i had just spent over £80 for genuine HP Ink, so I searched Ebay for a used printer that couold use the same ink cartidges. This D7160 Printer (printer only) fitted the bill, was bought at a very reasonable price, came swiftly and well packed, and performs perfectly, good prints, quietly and quickly so I am getting good use out of my ink! I do not think I will buy an All-in-One again! Graham.
