Worked great with a minor modification.
I read that this worked to replace the DC31-00055G. It did, but I had to shave off a small plastic nub that fit in the front motor seat. There was only a notch on the rear motor seat so this one did not seat correctly in the front. Simply shaved notch off with exacto knife and it seated fine. Other that that is worked great. Dryer works fine.
