  • Budget option, but does a good job.

After some careful consideration on how much money I wanted to spend on the task of cleaning my collection, and reviewing all the pros and cons in reviews that I'd read, I ended up settling for the spin clean MK2. I write this now after completing about 500 records cleaned so far, and I've got to say I'm quite pleased with the results. I got myself some more microfibre cloths for the initial drying after cleaning and fabricated a drying stand from draining board rack, but everything else really is included in the pack. I had read some negatives in reviews about some crackling during playback added after cleaning, but I honestly haven't found this to be the case. It must be said that I also used an anti static gun after the clean. The 500 records cleaned weren't disgusting but were purchased from 1990-92, and had been extensively used for DJing without ever being cleaned in there life. The end result was a clean and polished vinyl with quality playback that I was more than happy with.
