This is a good and useful piece of kit but.... The one I got was not like the one in the picture (blue; short diagonal braces; middle leg not reaching ground). Mine was all stainless steel (so - much above expectation) and has straight and diagonal bracing at the bottom on each side, bolted to all three legs - great idea but at one end both u-channel section braces share a bolt which creates distortion and is not easy to assemble. One bolt-hole was incorrectly drilled and required re-working with drill and file. Assembly was easy enough with the right tools but you need one or two spanners. Not do-able with screwdriver and pliers. Having said that; if you make sure you put the right bolts in the right places, it really is a very good saw-horse for your money - stainless for leaving in the rain! Pretty rigid even though the bracing is all at ground level which is really good if you are using a chainsaw. Well worth the effort!Read full review

The product was plated instead of painted as in the illustrative photograph, it used angle and channel instead of square sections and the arrangement of the bracing bars was also quite different. The horizontal and angled bracing bars have one common fixing point using a longer bolt, but if this is used, the angled brace is distorted when it bolts to the other two vertical scissor supports. I solved this by cutting of the edges off the channel brace for a short distance. Why should I recommend this saw horse when it is not as described and needed modification to make it fit? Because it works very well. It is very stable, grips the log securely and the cross members are well away from any possible contact with the chain saw.

I'm pleased with it overall and it helps me saw my logs. I didn't find the instructions which had slipped deep into the box until after I had put it together and it then took me a little while to work out where the 3 nuts and bolts I had left over really went. The instructions are not clear. It's a bit fiddly to try doing on your own and I recommend you get a friend to help you hold it steady (but then DIY isn't normally my thing!). The holes were in the right places but, until the construction was held at the right angles, it didn't look as if things were going to fit. Some of the bolts might have been better if a little longer but they did the job after I'd wrestled with them a bit.

This is a robust saw horse that holds the logs or branches well in the serrated arms. The width of the holding gap is adjustable to suit various sizes of wood. I found it very stable in use. The only down side is that the assembly instructions are minimal and need a lot of thought and inspection of the pictures to get it right first time. But a good buy and worth the money.

It's ok. A couple of bit's could have been made stronger tbh. But it does the job. Just could have been made a little better...
