Its good stuff but....
....use this with caution. I used this to repair a decorative sandstone lintel above my front door. This stuff is fairly workable but use in small batches just as the intructions state. It goes hard all of a sudden so you only get a 10 minute window to apply it. Once it sets it really goes off rock hard. Its very hard to sand it so try and smooth it down before it sets or just build your layers over several batches. The tin came with sufficient hardener. Its messy stuff so have a good few pairs of disposable gloves to hand. Once it was set i primed it with Leyland stone and wood primer and then applied an exterior gloss.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Stone repair
Used this to repair shaped stone work above our door. Drilled and fixed some stainless steel screws into the stonework first to support the repair. Fixed the screws in with the Stonefil. Followed the instructions. I only mixed a small amount at a time and built up the shape. Cut back after about 30mins and then sanded to the final shape once set. Couple of coats of paint later and it looks amazing. Great product and will use again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
