Great for the elderly...
Pretty good phone for someone who can't have a landline. Clear reception with easy operation. A little difficult if you want to send texts as theres a lot of button pressing and scrolling (not a problem if you're capable with basic technology) but for the elderly its just phone that you can use to dial out on and receive calls easily.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good simulation of a landline phone
It simulates a landline phone very well. After an overnight charge, the phone was still working, unplugged, for several days. Not that you would carry it around as a "mobile" phone, but it would not be worried by power cuts. The instructions don't give adequate detail for setting the quick dial and phonebook: switch off auto complete before trying to add new names! The logic of the 3 quick dial buttons is a bit odd: they don't work while the receiver is off-hook. The perfect solution for an elderly person
My mum is 96 and has moved into a Residential home. She really missed being able to ring family and friends and would not have been able to manage a regular mobile.
