Even better than the original!
This is a great game, it's better than the original because the playing cards are full size and there are other improvements to the game. There are extended destination cards, dealt separately, which makes it more challenging, and there are tunnels which make it tougher to lay down trains. Great Game
Bought this just based on reviews. My family and I (5 of us) have played it a couple of times so far and really enjoy it. Unusual for a board game, once you know what you're doing it moves pretty quickly. Reminds me of Catan, but because you're limited in what you can do each turn (in Catan you have more options in each move and can trade with other players, so each move takes a while). This forces you to focus on the best option for the moment, given the probability of getting the correct card, other players blocking your route, etc. While it's easy to learn (went on Youtube to avoid reading all the directions), there are definitely different strategies to winning depending upon the cards you are drawing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
