The hard drive works perfectly, however it arrived without the foil screen which covers the back of the drive and is held in place by 4 screws. As this was taken out of a laptop I do not know why the foil cover was removed. I took the foil cover off the original drive so that I could put the replacement in to my old laptop. I have been unable to locate a place to purchase a foil cover and screws to put on my original drive to be able to use it as a portable hard drive.

I'm not sure this will be the best review in history, all I can say is I brought this hard drive a few months ago now due to my ssd drive causing lots of errors and failed boot attempts, and many bsod errors during running. This drive isn't as fast for booting or opening programs as an ssd, but it's a lot quicker than my last disk drive, in booting, and programs opening, I've read a bit about should you defrag these drives, my advice is, do defrag when you notice programs lagging or hanging, it does make a difference to performance.
