Great set of countersinks and plug cutters but need to be used carefully.
Excellent set of countersinks and matching plug cutters . Needs to be used properly or else the bits can get clogged and start scorching the wood sample. For best results, I recommend that the countersink is de-clogged after every two or three holes, particularly in very resinous wood. The plug cutter works most effectively when cutting as close to the edge of the sample wood as possible instead of in the heart of it. That way, the excess dust can escape and reduce the the build up on the cutter and hence reduce scorching.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good but a little flawed
Good quality metals but let down by not clearing the chips away as well as other designs So the 'flutes' get gummed up causing it to rub on the cutting edge instead of cutting and burning the wood as a result.
