A good purchase value for money!
A very good option value for money. The strobes flash was working OK. The only minus of this set can be the light stands. The strobe flashes need stands with bigger pole diameter to be more stable and secure that you are safe. The lights themselves are very good value for money. Combined with the Godox wireless trigger they make setting up & using a breeze. Good results & great value. Only thing to any sort of negative is that I shall be upgrading the stands that came as part of the kit as they are only just stable enough for my personal liking. Excellent Product!!
I was looking for the home studio setup and check so many strobes. Finally decided to buy this ones. Very economical strobes and cheap in case anyone wants future upgrade it doesn’t hurt you much. Pro: godox sk400ii 1. Bowen mount 2. Light weight including stands and softboxes 3. 400w/s is enough for home studio setup I have 2 lights so 800w 4. Replacement bulbs are cheaper than expensive brands 5. Log wires for strobes to move around 6. Wireless receivers inbuilt Cons: 1. Doesn’t go below 1/16 so if you have more lights setup you have to calculate accordingly. 2. Aluminium stands feel very lightweight and cheap it could be better. 3. No HSS sync (you may never need at home anyway) Overall I would highly recommended Godox SK400 II to anyone who wants to startup as a home studio photographer.
