It's a light bulb
it works as you would expect...it's a light bulb. What is better than expected is the good value. It has a respected brand name and was not much more expensive to get 4 bulbs rather than one. I thought that if the bulbs weren't great, at least I'd have spares. Turns out they seem fine. I'm using the bulb to run a lava lamp for the grandson when he visits and being heatproof, it's exactly what the lava lamp requires. I was very happy with the purchase, but couldn't score it 5 stars.."amazing"... I bought a light bulb for goodness sake. I think, "better than expected", (4 stars) is more accurate. The fact I have given it 4, rather than 5 stars, should not give the impression that this product is in any way defective or of a quality that is not 100% fine. I just wanted to make that clear. DON'T BUY. First bulb blew in Neff oven after less than 2 months. 2nd in 2 DAYS
The first bulb in this set of 4 lasted less than 2 months in our Neff oven. Neff's original bulb had gone on for almost 3 years, so a huge difference. On the box of each of these General Electric bulbs, it says 300H. If this means an average life of 300 hours, a) that's awful & b) ours lasted even less time than that. Hopefully the others won't blow as quickly. UPDATED 2 DAYS LATER - the 2nd bulb lasted a pathetic 2 days. This has been a very poor purchase, half of which has already ended up in landfill - far too quickly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I can say that the oven light bulbs is truly revolutionary. Before the bulb I couldn’t see what was in the oven. Now I can. Without opening the door! I go to work much happier and my relationship with my girlfriend has improved as a result. I can’t wait till this bulb goes in 7 years time to get another so my life can be suitably uplifted. I can’t believe how great these are , genuine General Electric 300 degree bulbs . Only lasted 3 weeks
