Good short-range scope
I chose the 33mm over larger scopes for compactness. I use this on a Ruger 77/44 (44-mag rifle) for hog hunting. The cartridge's range is about 80 yards so I normally have the scope set around 3x which provides ample magnification for hogs at that range plus a wide field of view. This scope also pulls in enough light that I can also night-hunt hogs with just moonlight. Downside: The focus isn't crisp throughout the full zoom range. If you set it at 2x and adjust the focus it'll be a little blurry at 7x and vise-versa. Not terrible but noticeable. So I adjusted the focus in the middle, around 4x.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
