Best Bang for the Buck in a 3X9 Scope
These scopes are the best bang for the buck. 3x9 32mm is the standard for small bore rifle and this checks the box. It has all the usual power, focus and sighting adjustments. As an added bonus, it comes with the rings too; if you have to go find some, they're not that expensive but it's still something else you have to go do and pay for, this package eliminates that issue.
For this price you rarely find an Adjustable Objective. Some may argue that you don't need it if your using it on an actual 22mag or .17 because you would rarely shoot over 100yds anyway. However, the ability or remove or reduce parallax is a good thing at any distance. Parallax is more noticeable at longer ranges but reducing it can be useful at closer distances if you are shooting for precision, less than 1" groups. As a cosmetic note, there are few silver scopes of decent quality out there, if you want that stainless look to match a stainless small bore gun, this is the ticket.
Simmons is a decent quality product equivalent to Bushnell, Nikon or the more recently popular Vortex. It's not a Leupold or Zeiss but it's not $300-$900 either. It's a great little budget scope that exceeds the requirements for typically found in others at a similar price. Usually this runs $60-$80 unless you find one on eBay for $45 like I did.
