    Love this sight!

Bought this product because of previous experience with the brand. I was not disappointed, easy to install, easy to sight in, clear optics! The only negative is the lock crews for windage and elevation adjustments are covered up by the iron sights. A change in that design would make a world of difference.

    Burris QC failure.

I took a gamble on this sight as it was a previous model and the price was good for what I wanted. Like other reviewers, after I assembled it and turned it on, I found the dot didn't resemble a dot. It's more like a distorted half circle. I marked it OK as this is going on a .22 for open class rimfire. For a more competitive gun, this would be unacceptable. I may get in contact with Burris and put there "Forever Warrenty" to the test.

  • BURRIS FASTFIRE II

THE BURRIS SIGHT WAS EASY TO ZERO IN. WORKS GREAT FOR AN OLDER SHOOTER WITH OLDER EYES (56). THE SIGHT WAS MOUNTED ON A 6 IN BARREL, 357, AND ZERO AT 50 YARDS. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS I WOULD HAVE LIKED THE DOT TO HAVE BEEN ROUND AND MORE DEFINED, BUT THIS ONLY COMES ON HIGHER PRICED UNITS. IN ALL I DO LIKE THIS SIGHT.

  • Excellent red dot

Would recommend, especially for under $200. Very compact and light weight , good sight picture and crisp dot. The fast fire 3 has a few upgrades but cost more. If you want quality optics on a budget, this is for you

  • Burris Fastfire II Red Dot Reflex Sight and Cataracts

I have been using a BSA red dot sight on a 38 special pistol and it has greatly enhanced my ability to hit targets at ranges of up to 75 yards. The problem is the scope type sight is heavy (8 ounces) and tall. Making the pistol/sight combo cumbersome. The Burris red dot is light and compact and appears to be a high quality. Unfortunately the red dot is evidently produced using a different method than the BSA and due to the onset of cataracts, the dot is a star that covers an 81/2 x 11 inch sheet of paper at 50 yards. So if your eyesight is normal or you just have old eyes and trouble using open sights, I highly recommend the Burris red dot sight. To me, the biggest advantage to the red dot system is the ability to get an accurate sight picture, especially at longer distances.

  • Burris fast fire 2 4 MOA

My second one and won’t be my last. Vortex also makes a crossfire of similar value mabe tad lower quality. I like the auto dim depending on light coming into the sight. A nice Burris feature. Very dependable battery last all season replace it start of each season. Makes for great option instead of a scope but faster than irons. I have one on my 870 turkey gun with a Marlin 333 base. one extra drill and tap hole and sits low where it should be. And now have one on my lever. Reliable dependable and looks sleek. No concern of water seepage. Buy it you won’t regret it.

  • Cheaply made. Lacks features that are standard on other sights.

It's a very simple sight. No option for dimming or color. Don't care for the auto brightness feature. Seems like a cheaply made product. Instructions give the WRONG number for the battery. Caused me to spend $5 for a battery I can't use, or return.

  • Its decent

I like everything about it, with one big exception...you need to remove it from the mount to change the battery. The only logic I see behind this is possibly keeping the battery compartment cap from flying off during recoil. I haven't had that problem with similar sights

  • Great sight at a very reasonable cost.

I own a fastfire 3. It works awesome, however, it has a 3 level dot intensity which means a lot of button pushing to activate. This fastfire 2 has only an on/off button. Much simpler to activate. Same great sight as the fastfire 3 without the multi function/ multi press annoyance, with one exception. The sight must be removed to change the battery on the 2. The 3 can remain mounted while changing battery.

  • Doesn’t fit my mount for hand gun to small.

I thought I would fit my bottom plate mount for my beretta apx centurion 9mm, it was not the right fit. And I don’t like the buris 2 with that button on the side on and off switch. But I’m using it on my AR-15.
