Quick coupler does the job - highly recommend you get this.
This device extends the mic away from the boom arm mount and means the mic will clear the arm in whatever position. Also a bonus of decoupling it with a simple pull of the collar. I had to add a second 5/8” 1/4” collar as the supplied mic one was plastic and snapped so a brass one sorted that. Now it’s a perfect setup. Recommended buy!
