A sequel to the well-received DS title 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward is a cinematic adventure game that combines elements of the TV show Survivor and the Saw movies. Players take on the role of lewd young man named Sigma as he and eight other characters solve puzzles, cooperate, and trick one another in order to earn nine Bangle Points (BP) and escape an abandoned warehouse. Beautiful watch, Great game
I already owned the 3ds version of this game but this series is my favorite game series, has been since I first played it and I had to own one of the watches, why not get the other version of the game while I'm at it? I was planning to get both versions at some point anyway. The game and watch were brand new, so of course in perfect condition. The watch looks beautiful and works but I haven't used it so that it doesn't break. The game... what can you even say about this game? The soundtrack is great, the graphics are good, to me at least, the characters, let's not get into that actually, but the story, I love the story in this game, you could technically play this without having played the first game but I wouldn't recommend it. Each of the different endings, even the bad endings, are so interesting, and the true ending, I honestly didn't see that coming at all and I loved it. Very interesting so far!
I really love the click and point type of gameplay where you solve puzzles by discovering hidden items or clues laying around. This one is unique with a storyline that plays out in the form of a visual novel thats actually well crafted in its entirety. The visuals are quite nice to be honest the sceneary sets the mood for the impending doom type of environment theyve tried to set but also they keep it fresh with the writing its very interwoven and well thought out. I also enjoy the comedic relief theyre subtlety strewed around as it doesnt take itself too seriously. Also without spilling too much tea i will say that the whole nonary game "bit" is quite cute because nonary basically means numbers related to or things associated with the number 9 and in japan the number 9 is also pronounced the same as the word for suffering so it tends to just be disliked and generically associated with negativity urther strengthening the ties to mystery and stigma. Over all for the price its a great game to have in your vita library!
