Freedom to move about
These headphone have many advantages: large range, balance control, multiple channels, rechargeable batteries. One can have multiple sets of headphones with a single transmitter/recharger. They provide good sound quality by covering the ears and isolating from ambient noise. Some people may find that the headphones feel a little warm after an extended listen. We have two sets of these headphones. We move about the house while listening to the television without interruption. These headphones are a little old now and they show their age: the surface of the headband cushions and the ear pieces flake badly. The batteries may no longer hold a charge. The ear pieces and batteries are easily replaced, the headband cushions, not so much. Good product
Good old Sennheiser. I like them. It is my 4th set. But they have had the same recurring problem. The VOLUME control. I can see how the problem develops over time. The wheel of the VOLUME control is deep into the casing and has little aspirations or corrugation causing the user to have to PUSH DOWN to operate. Over time, this causes the mechanism to malfunction. The stereo sound becomes difficult to attain and I have had to use various contraptions to have the full sound. The volume module inside the casing is totally sealed and not accessible. I have yet, over the years, to find a shop to fix this recurring problem. With my first set, I dealt with Sennheiser in Pointe-Claire, QC and had a tremendous service from a Mister Leblanc. The second time I contacted Pointe Claire, there was no longer repair service made available and the competent Mr Leblanc was no longer with the company. I wish there was service available in my region, in such a large city like Ottawa, Canada's Capital.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Overall very good product for the cost $100, however, I have a somewhat bigger head than most and because I wear glasses the rim tends to dig around my ears. If you wear glasses go for a higher end model, if you don't then great buy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

First Class!
Excellent value, an incredibly useful headset -- can use all over the house from the single transmitter. Sound quality is excellent, and tuning and volume control are done easily on the headset. Have used Sennheiser wireless headphones for at least 20 years and have never been disappointed. The charging cradle, plugged into power, is all you need to provide great sound (with or without the TV/DVD volume completely muted).
