This CD features the live performance of Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman, and Howe on October 24th, 1989 at the NEC. The album is still sealed in its original packaging, ensuring that you get a brand new, untouched copy. The CD comes in a standard jewel case and includes the inlay in mint condition. This is a must-have for fans of progressive rock and collectors alike. Get your hands on this rare find before it's gone!
ABWH were always good value for money live. Drawing together 4 ex-Yes men, and adding the brilliant Tony Levin on bass was pure genius. The studio album was superb and the songs from it are here interspersed with some Yes crowd pleasers.
I do however have a few concerns with the album. Firstly the sound quality. The show is obviously sourced from the BBC live recording (I have a old cassette tape copy that I recorded off the radio - remember when we used to do that?) and there are a few places where the sound wobbles in and out. Secondly the album insert notes are a direct lift from the tour booklet and are, to my failing eyes, hard to read.
The music though is superb and takes me back to that time.
Excellent live Yes repertoire from a classic line up. Having seen current line up live twice in last 2 years, I was looking for a live CD and found this. Superb double with many classic tracks. If you like Yes add this to your collection.
