Quality Router for RV Home Office
I use the MBR1200B to manage my home office in a Recreation Vehicle. It replaced the MBR95 that developed a flaky USB port after 5 years of travel. The MBR1200B has wireless as a LAN and USB modem as a LAN. These are the two sources for Internet as I use it. It has failover. Excellent Value with one caveat.
Wipipe feature (QoS) is removed in the latest update by Cradlepoint. If you have mission critical operations depends on the (QoS) you are out of luck such as IP Telephony video streaming etc. So cradlepoint somehow decided to remove the feature although the logo of wipipe is printed boldly on top of the router. That's what I call dishonesty. You can't remove a feature printed on top of the router, that's not right for a reputable business class product. So know that you will not have QoS unless you have much older firmware installed which is vulnerable to heartbleed bug. I wanted to provide Internet WiFi service in my off the grid cabin. I could not get terrestrial Internet (cable not available in this area) but, I was able to get a decent 4G LTE signal after installing a directional antenna and signal booster. Easy to use, and Perfect for RV internet.
Updated the firmware to most recent version and so simple to use. I bought a unlocked 340U USB modem put a T-Mobile sim in it and plugged it in and worked right away after the firmware update. Perfect for having internet that fails-over instantly.
