A great lead! It isn't braided which in my opinion means it is tougher and less likely to fray or unravel or look untidy. On the contrary, the outer layer is clearly as tough as old boots and makes for a great protective layer. I especially like the right- angled male port that means that when looking at in-car plug-ins it is less likely to encounter strain on that part of the lead.
