Awesome radio that’s rugged and very well built ! Takes getting use to the menus but not bad once your get the hang of it !

Excellent all band HF, VHF, and UHF transceiver
This multipurpose radio is excellent for the field ham radio operator who wants 100 watts of HF SIngle Side Band, 50 watts of VHF and UHF, while using external batteries or power. When using optional internal batteries, it becomes a QRP radio at 20 watts. After returning from the field, park this rig on your desk and continue to enjoy its use. Other options that can be purchased is an internal power supply for a smaller footprint. Otherwise, an external power supply is another option. Such versatility makes it an attractive radio to own. Though no longer being manufactured, it is frequently available used.
