Using some rare cells from Godzilla, Dr. Shiragami has genetically engineered a indestructible plant life form. Known as Biollante, the creature is content to be alone until Godzilla comes back to wreak havoc on Tokyo. Upon his return from the deep, Godzilla finds a worthy opponent in Biollante and the two creatures come face to face in an explosive fight to the finish.

    Unique Godzilla Film

    Since this movie has gone out of print, it's nearly impossible to find one for a decent price or not a bootleg.. Needless to say, this was a great buy. Came sealed with security stickers. I watched it immediately as soon as it came. It's 100% authentic from Miramax, not a bootleg. This is American release and Widescreen. Product arrived in good condition. It's not the best Godzilla movie of all time but it is very unique and engaging. there are some extras on this DVD and behind the scenes filming. It's one of my favorites and if you're a Godzilla fan, you must add this to your collection.

    Overlooked Godzilla movie that has its charm and originality.

    The movie garnered a better reputation after its release. It's an interesting concept to point out the potential dangers of misusing nature and how genetic bioengineering can be horrible to come by. My only complaint for this DVD is that the English Dub has muffled quality that also affects the music as well as if it's from a VHS.

    Looks like the real thing. If this is a pirated copy, it's an absurdly good one. Audio in Japanese or English. English subtitles available. The English dub doesn't sound very good, but it's clear and intelligible. Picture quality is reasonable. Recommended.

    G vs B

    This is a different kind of Godzilla movie that you're accustomed to seeing. This movie helped kick off the series for the 90's which made Godzilla unfriendly towards humans kinda like the 1954 one. A good movie to watch on a lazy weekend afternoon

    Great buy for such a rare beauty!

    Rare movie for a great price! I was originally holding out for a bluray version but this is just as good and it even came in its shrink wrap and it even came a day early! Region 1 disc can be played in the U.S. and other region 1 areas. Definitely worth the money.
