Bat Masterson was surely one of the most unusual lead characters of any American western program. As played by Gene Barry in the character's eponymous half-hour series - which ran from October 1958 through June 1961 - Masterson was a gambler-cum marshal who loved women and hated violence, often preferring to defend himself with a cane instead of a gun. Episodes depicted him traveling through the Old West, seeking adventure and female companionship. This sprawling box set features over 60 episodes of the original series, including RUN FOR YOUR MONEY, CATTLE AND CANES, SIX FEET OF GOLD, THE TREASURE OF WORRY HILL, CHEYENNE CLUB and many more.

BETTER T.V. DAYS...
I do not remember this show as a kid. But I love it, not a lot of blood or Killen. Bat always try's to use his cane. only the gun if he has to. The fighting a bit on real, the did the best they could back then.....thankzzzz.......pepecats
