Looks great shame I cant use it.
It looks good and good quality. I wanted to use it for my dash cam and plug in DAB radio at the same time. Unfortunately if you put the power on for both devices the DAB radio immediately goes off. In theory the power needed by both devices is low. I do not know where the fault is but the reality is that i cant use it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Accurate description in title.
The adaptor works well and provides the switching facility which I require. My only negative comment is that the sticky mounting pad supplied does not stick to my cars plastic trim very well so I have used a sealant product instead.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Power up easy

not impressed.
not overly happy with it due to two things, one is that the display on it does not match the listing and the other is that i own an astra and although all cigarette lighter ports are the same size, the adapter that is on the device does not go in unless you force it in hard.This is due to the two contacts on the outside of the adapter not being flexible. i would look for something else if i were you.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fire hazzard
Had it in the truck, with a sat nav and phone charger plugged into it (not exactly high current drawing devices). Plug got very hot and melted, first warning sign was intermittent power to the devices whilst I was driving. 30 seconds later smoke from the socket. On investigation the fuse inside failed to blow, as in the vehicle (different matter). Would not recommend on safety grounds, if I had been away from the vehicle situation could have been serious

Melted in the socket!
I had it plugged in with an iPhone and am in car fridge at the same time. After about half an hour I realised the charging light went out and the fridge wasn’t running anymore. I pulled the plug out to have a look and it was hot and the end had started to melt in the socket. Stopped using it straight away as I thought it could catch fire.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
