The finishing touch to a '57 P Bass !
I bought my 2010 '57 Fender Precision secondhand. The former owner had decided to replace it with a 3-ply black one, which, although gave the bass a look of something not short of what Roger Waters would use, I didn't like it. I'm a terrible purist with Fender Precisions (I own three) and decided to bring it back to its natural roots. The '57 uses gold anodized pickguards and I bought a genuine Fender one. Now it looks perfect and complete and just how it should be. It really is a beautiful contrast to the black body and maple neck of the bass.
