Perfect fit
I used these rings to mount scopes on a Marlin Model 99M1 and a Marlin Model 60. They fit the Marlin 3/8" dovetail perfectly. Excellent quality steel rings. The upper half of the rings snap over the scope tube, use even pressure on both sides of the upper half to snap in place. Great rings for rimfires and air rifles.
I bought these to get the lowest mounting position for a Weaver Classic Rimfire 4x scope on a CZ 455 American .22 LR. They do the job admirably with adequate/minimal clearance between the scopes ocular bell and the bolt handle. Well designed and manufactured, great matte finish matches the scope perfectly. Mounted on a CZ457 Lux with a Leupold VX3HD scope. People complain about the "snapping" on of the product and possible scratches, all you have to do is bend them out a bit with a couple of punches or allen wrenches and place them where they need to go.
