A great Biography
This book on the life and times of E. Holden, an artist and illustrator is well written and illustrated. The book is a definite read if one enjoys the Victorian age in which she flourished, wrote and drew. I recommend this leisure reading.

This is a beautiful diary of an Edwardian woman who shared her love and knowledge of plants and flowers. She passed away in the 1920's, but this book did not come to light until 1977.
