Basically a good powered vent with a couple negatives.
This ventilator runs quietly and seems durable, as the outer gray shell is metal instead of the plastic on the fan it replaced. That fan's plastic cover shattered from the hail of a recent thunderstorm allowing hail and rain as well as a lot of plastic pieces into my attic and caused a serious mess. This new one should hold up better. As to negatives, the cable from the thermostat to the fan is too short, and the screen to keep out pests has openings that are much too large. Wasps, bees, and spiders can easily pass through. I wrapped that with a portion of window screen, but a better design would be preferable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Roof top power vent.
Easy to install with common construction know how. Their is a little slot on each side of the motor put a drop of machine oil in each slot before use and at the start of your summer use season will help your to last longer.
