    Good half load mixer.

Great little mixer once you have tried to work out which bolt goes where. Very sturdy. The instructions have lovely glossy photos, but absolutely useless. The bolts are not numbered or made clear where they go and various bolt head sizes. Also it recommends that you get gasket sealer - not supplied - to be able to fit the rubber gasket. It would be impossible to fit correctly without it. So all in all, poor assembly instructions, great mixer.

    Not easy

I am an electrician and have been in the building game for 35 years so I know what I'm doing when it comes to putting things together, but I must say I found this item very frustrating to assemble mainly due to the very very poor instructions, all it really said was bolt this part to that part using the bolts, nuts and washers supplied but considering there were lots of different types but no definition of which one for what left a lot of guess work, so if you buy this item I would suggest have a good knowledge of jigsaw puzzles. Not for the amateur.

  • A good DIY product

the mixer arrived within 5 days of ordering and was delivered by courier. It is self assembly and the instructions, all pictures, leaves a bit to be desired. Generally easy to assemble once you have worked out the pictures. Screws/bolts not marked and it was not clear which went where. This is a small mixer not suitable for trade but ok for DIY fills about half a wheelbarrow a time. All told it is good value and a good price.

  • Not bad, but you get what you pay for

So this is probably the cheapest cement mixer you'll find online (It certainly was for me) It is self assembly, which is fine. However the instructions are appalling. They're vague and downright incorrect in places which makes the job of building this difficult, if you have a bit of experience and common sense you'll probably be ok though. The mixer itself works fine for a small project, however, it does "cut out" every 30 minutes or so, probably through overheating. If left for 10-15 minutes it comes back to life of its own accord, but it's something to aware of. We were just mixing cement for a patio in fairly small loads on a mild day and found it cut out 5-6 times a day It's not a bad product, but like I say you get what you pay for. I would suggest buying it if you mix cement/concrete sporadically. But if you're a heavy user, or need that extra reliability get a more expensive one.

  • Looks a good little mixer

when you start to build it everything seems fine however when you get to the end it say use this bolt that washer and you have everything but what you need at one point i had to put a tiny spring washer on a huge bolt only had once size washer so that just wasnt going to happen now i have to try use it and see it it stays in once piece hahahaha

  • Very small

Allow at least a couple of hours for assembly. It is very small, I realised it was going to be small but not quite as small as it is. If you want to tip anything into a barrow you have to build a platform to raise it high enough. The drum aperture is too narrow to throw sand into it with a shovel. You can just about get 2 bags (25kg) and some cement into it and it mixes reasonably well, but gets very hot and cuts out, you then have to wait for it to cool down. Bette rthan hand mixing, but not much.

  • Really surprised at the quality.

Arrived next day after the order was placed. It was quite easy to assemble but there was some nuts and bolts missing so I will have to buy some to complete the assembly. Overall I think it's good value for money but I have yet to try a mix when I've purchased the last 3 bolts and put them in. The Quality is really very good for the money and I was very surprised for £120.

  • Wolf 50L concrete mixer

The item arrived in a well sealed sturdy box. The assembly process was a bit fiddly but once I understood the intruction booklet it was soon assembled and ready to go. I have used it several times to mix dry sand and cement for slabbing and it is really good. As the built machine is compact, handling and storage is really easy, taking up very little space.

  • A Companion to Save Your Back

This product is not a toy, but a well engineered compact mixer. Ideal if you are restricted on size whilst transporting it about. There are competitor products around that may look the same. After researching the spec I believe the Wolf to be the better one. The half horse power belt driven power unit is a substantial beast. A sensible safety cutout switch is well placed on the steel casing. I say it is well engineered, it is. However, it arrives in a compact cardboard box that is a miracle in packaging. It is essentially a "Self Build" so it will be an advantage to have some understanding of machine assemblies. The suppliers are very helpful and offer a Helpline should you get stuck. The only criticism is not in the machine but all the various nuts and bolts & rubber motor mounts etc, are all bagged together. There are many. Also packed is an instruction manual but not all the photos adequately illustrate where the numerous fittings go, so lay them all out first before you start to assemble. Follow the instructions, take your time and I am confident you will be pleased with this companion that will help you in avoiding those easily achieved back injuries
