Pricey for what you are really getting.
It is a salt that is processed differently than table salt but salt non the less. It is needed for a specific purpose in finishing a dish, etc. When you compare to the cost of regular table salt, it is not really a good value, but it does serve a aesthetic purpose because of the flake.
