A bit of a let-down..
I really wanted this brush to be great..but it's not..it's very hard to break in,compared to other boar brushes i have..[the bristles keep falling out]..i've only used it about 8 times and already the varnish coating is flaking off the wooden handle..and i can see the start of the wood splitting from the base of the knot..and i always dry off my brush after use..very dissapointing for a KENT brush..

When I got the brush, unpacked it and it fell in half, the handle fell off

Stiff brush
I like a stiffer brush for shaving to work the hair nicely and provide a very light exfoliation feel. I tried a horse hair which felt like a limp hand shake. This is a good dense brush for a bargain price.
