simple and best
i have used many types of record cleaning fluid over the years with mixed results, many leave residues which become sticky and damage labels. vinyl shelter is not one of these products, if used properly it works extremely well with no sign of residue or label damage. i use a microline stylus which can detect the tiniest traces of dust, after cleaning with vinyl shelter there is the clearest silence from vinyl surfaces.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent Cleaning for Records
I have been using Vinyl Shelter’s cleaning fluid for roughly a year now and I think it is very good in getting old records cleaned and new records’ static removed. After using Disco Antistats’ record cleaning machine with their own fluid, I found that while clean, the stylus became covered in debris every time I played the records. This has now completely gone away with Vinyl Shelter’s product. The records are as clean as it gets and there is no gunk in the grooves. Love your vinyl & care for it!
I use Vinyl Shelter cleaning fluid with my Knosti Disco Antistat. Unlike the Knosti fluid there is no residue left in the record groove that collects on the stylus when played. The Vinyl Shelter fluid removes all contaminants from the record groove & surface, it also dries quickly and provides anti-static protection. The Vinyl Shelter fluid is cheaper than the Knosti fluid and does a better job. Playing a disc that's been cleaned is noise free no residue picked up by the stylus. I have used other cleaners. I have found this one to better. It leaves on deposit the records have a sheen and look new. Even on old ones that have not been cleaned for years.
