I bought this case for the brand name and bought it used because of the price. I'm glad I did, because not only did I not have to unbox it, but it looked brand new. make BETTER models for ALL PHONES, you putzes.
I bought this under the guise that it was the new model of "commuter". Nothing could be farther from the truth. It is a one piece case, like a speck. It is ridiculously slippery. No grip on it at all, even on the rubber edges. That's great for getting it out of your suit jacket pocket fast. However, not great if as soon as you get it out of your jeans pocket it slips out of your hand and falls on the ground. I have dropped this phone more in the week that I have had the case on than I dropped my last phone with a commuter case in 3 years. I will be getting rid of this case as soon as I can find a decent generic "defender", since the stuck ups at Otter don't make any other case for my phone. Curious that my model, the J7 2017 is literally on display at the AT&T store, but Otter won't put any effort into making any other models for the phone. How far you have fallen, Otterbox. 100% worth the money
Just a plain black phone case but it does protect my phone very well! Good basic protection worth the price.
The Otter Box for the Galaxy J7 is simpler than the Otter Box for my old phone. It lacks the fold out of the way rubber covers for the various ports. It makes the phone quite a bit heavier and bulkier, but it's a small price to pay for being able to drop your phone confident that it will suffer no damage.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I think it's a perfect fit around my phone, but it dose not have a screen protector or a belt clip. This case makes the phone heavy durable protected and still fits in my pockets. Great Protection, EXCEPT for the screen
I've used Otterbox products for years on dozens of phones. I ordered this one for my new J7. Everything about his case gets the usual "fantastic" rating, except screen protectors just don't work with it. I was not able to use a tempered glass screen protector at all because it would never grasp more than a couple square inches of the screen. And even a film protector did not grasp a couple square inches. Real protection, not just a cheap case
I purchased this cover for my Tracfone Samsung j7 Sky Pro, I could not find any cases that were actual drop protection cases just colorful cheap Chinese cases that won't actually protect it. I've always had good luck with the otter boxes they will protect it from a drop.
