Perfect replacement for the humidstat that had failed in my Aprilaire 500M humidifier. 2 screws to attach the control wires, reinstall with 4 sheet metal screws holding it in the cold air return duct, and the house is more comfortable again. These things are designed from the factory not to turn on until it reaches 38% humidity which the manufacture says it's reading the humidity in your house. If I had 38% humidity in my house I wouldn't need a dam humidistat would I!!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice replacement
