Pentel - always good value
Have been using a standard fine silver Sharpie for marking small electronic components which wasn't fine enough. This is nice and fine. The tip compresses on a spring into the body to release the silver ink and takes quite a few compressions to get the ink fully flowing. So far (maybe because it's so new) I have to use it fairly vertical to the surface in order to get the ink flowing smoothly. I suspect that with more usage it will be as effective at a more normal writing angle. Great for permanently marking black plastic items.
