Having used Earthwood acoustic strings from Ernie Ball for the majority of the past 25-30 years on all of the acoustic guitars I've owned they always sound great to me. In that time I've only twice had an issue with the quality of a particular string and I've changed my strings roughly every 4 weeks or so. That's a lot of packs, you do the maths. I have no interest in Ernie Ball Earthwood strings other than being a happy long term customer :-)

I've been using these strings for many years, tried others but always go back to them. They give a bright rich and earthy tone (on my 1980 sigma acoustic). The only cons are that they don't stay bright sounding as other 'coated' brands (but i often play when my hands are grubby!), and may not stand up to frequent re-tuning as others (i use standard and DADGAD), but for the price they're lovely.

I've been using Ernie Ball strings since the mid-Eighties and despite trying other brands, always come back to them. I really like the Earthwood for acoustic guitar - they deliver a beautiful crisp, bright sound and have a great sustain. I find the lightweight 9 gauge perfect for my playing style on 12-string although I use heavier string for 6-string acoustic and electric.

I BOUGHT THESE FOR MY DAUGHTERS FIRST GUITAR ALTHOUGH THEY ARE CLEARLY GOOD FOR GENERAL USE RATHER THAN JUST BEGINNERS .THEY ARE EXCELLENT VALUE AS MANY BRANDS ON THE MARKET ARE JUST TOO EXPENSIVE UNLESS YOU ARE REALLY A SERIOUS MUSICIAN . WE ARE VERY PLEASED AND MY DAUGHTER IS HAVING FUN LEARNING .

Amazingly good value strings, my go to strings for all acoustic guitars. Last a long time, and sound beautiful right to the end of their usable life. Excellent value for money.
