Works for me
I normally use Omni, and thought for the price I'd give it a try. Shipped really quick and well packaged. This tuff is really thick and needs to be shaken or stirred well before it's usable. Sprayed well though. After allowing it to cure, it seemed to sand almost too well. Very easy to sand it right back off if your not carful. That may have something to do with the activator, not sure. Junk Primer
This primer is junk, I'll not buy another gallon. I used urethane thinner and still got a grainy texture in 65 degree weather. I sanded it off and tried another coat, same thing happened. I am an experienced painter and used a Iwata HVLP with a 1.7 tip -- never had a problem like this before using UPOL primer. I ordered another gallon of UPOL and it sprayed out great under the same conditions I've bought many Speedkote products and they've always been good, until now.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is a great product. It mixes, sprays and sands super easy and it doesn't dry in your gun and plug it up. I don't recommend using an orbital sander because it sands super easy. Does everything the more expensive 2K primers do!
I read some of the reviews and feel a more objective review is needed for this product. I have traditionally used WAY MORE EXPENSVE 2K primers and felt I wouldn't try a less expensive product with the thought "cheaper is not better". Well...I was wrong. 1. This is a thick product but all are! Lets be honest, you need to know your gun, you need to know how to use a gun and how to apply. If you are using a junk Chinese gun well, no wonder it isn't working for you! You need to know the size of the feed nozzle...duhhhhh! 2. I mixed the product according to package recommendation. I did not use a reducer and the end product turned out very well. In fact I was surprised how well it turned out. I had to adjust my priming gun a bit but nothing that problematic. 3. Sanding this product was fine. I laid on 4 coats on a hail damaged/repaired deck lid. Wet sanded it with 320 and then 400 grit. Please understand, this is not "liquid mud" so don't think you'll fill dings and poor body work. Do the body work to perfection before priming. 4. This product seemed to cover minor scratches from the repair work nicely. I haven't finish painted the deck lid because I still have the roof to repair but I believe it's "ready for paint". I'd recommend knowledgeable people to give this a try.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very nice clear
I sprayed a Honda Accord yesterday with a color shift pearl mixed and let me tell you! This clear layed down BEAUTIFUL! When I say "like glass" I mean GLASS. And I was surprised to see it touchable in 30 minutes or so... I used Finish 1 the first go around about a month ago and I was heartbroken. It took me 2 days of water sanding WITH 800 to get the orange peel out. Put after I topped it with THIS clear (Trust 2k) it was well worth not being able to feel my right arm for 2 days. I love this clear and definitely will be using it for now on... Did I mention I sprayed it with a LVLP gun? Just beautiful.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
