I use it so my 2 desktop computers can share a USB hub
Monitors have multiple inputs nowadays, so I didn't need a KVM switch. I just wanted either of my two computers to be able to use the USB hub, one at a time, not at the same time. Good switch, but it did have problems with a Raspberry pi
