Fast delivery and like new.
This clockspring was priced very sensibly, looked new, and arrived very quickly. It is actually for the open version of the Jimny. However, the open version loom can be easily converted to use on the closed version with a rear wiper, by cutting the small loom for the rear wiper from the old main clockspring loom, and then taping it to the loom to be fitted. You will need to make or source a puller for the steering wheel. When re-fitting the steering wheel, first wind the clockspring clockwise until it stops, wind back to align the arrows, then wind back a further 2 turns only. Note that snipe nose pliers are useful for detaching the white multi-connectors, and the yellow airbag connectors have a latch mechanism- prise out the two little ears, then flip the latch up to release. DO NOT touch the airbag wiring unless the ignition has been switched off for at least 20 minutes, and NEVER use a multimeter on the circuit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
