Awesome reel in its class
This reel is pack with technology ,kool features like magseal bearings and 8 corrosion resistant bearings which is the heart of this reel. Some may not like the rotor color or like me the handle on the 2500 size seems to be too long and the actual plastic handle is no the best it feels hard. It should be a rubbery feel handle. And the screws in the reel are not the best either. But all comes down to the performance and longevity that this reel will have because of its conponents. I like it for that, I wish it was more appealing in design but can't have everything in one single reel. It would be great though. I highly recommend it specially if you fish mainly salt water no other real in its price class has more corrosion resistance than this reel. Not even my Shimano Stradics FK which I love just because they are better looking, but sure are more pricy. Saltist has 9 bearings 2 are magnetic oil sealed and the other ones are CRBB. Air bail and air rotor. Digigears, hydrobodys, aluminum body and braid ready spool. Good rugged reel .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good Reel but not for the Money
Under $200 is a relatively good deal for this reel, but it does have its flaws and I wouldn’t buy another. It feels strong, the materials/finish is very high quality and the colors are awesome. However, the composite rotor is too flexible. When you tighten the drag all the way to 15 lbs and pull hard, the force from the line bends the rotor into the reel and it scratches the edge of the reel as it spins. Also, a few fish in, the handle became hard to turn while I was reeling, then it completely came loose. It was installed carefully and very securely and is threaded backwards so this shouldn’t happen. I’m still puzzled as to what caused it, but I re-tightened it and it seems to work fine since then. Overall, it’s a nice reel but after use, it’s not sturdy enough for fish larger than bass. I wouldn’t spend the money again. It comes with a good warranty but that doesn’t help you when you’re on the lake and lose a trophy fish.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
