These are some of the best knocks I've ever looked through and built very precision well, had a pair years ago, had to have another pair, same quality as before, great ease of use with an auto focus feature. Randy

The optic is clear and the quality match its price. Don't expect it to outperform like the premium binoculars (i.e. Zeiss, Leica or Swarovski) One of the things I like it the most is the "auto focus". All you have to do is set it up once and it's ready to go. You don't have to work the focus knob anymore. It is fairly compact in size and rugged. A good tool to have in your glovebox.

These are great binocs for the price. Buy for $150.00 or less for a great deal. Paying a little more than that is OK too. They are a bit heavy at 2 lbs and the neck strap is rather narrow and not cushioned. One can change the strap but be careful to get one that will go through the small eyes where you attach it because the Steiner clips must be used and once they are put in their slots, they can not be removed. The optics are fine and focus is easy and fast. Eyecups do allow for glasses. Just need to turn them to the left and they pop up for the necessary eye relief. Covers are supplied for both ends of the optics. The ones for the large ends are built in. The small end cover attaches through the strap so it won't be lost. There is diopter adjustment for the left eye. They do carry the Steiner lifetime warranty, which is nice to have. All in all, for birding, hunting, etc., these are very nice. 4 Stars only because of weight.Read full review

As 31 year law enforcement career officer, have always used Steiner glasses. Went through 2 pair in whole career. Dropped many times, eventually scratched first pair. $250.00 2nd pair lasted longer on floor of patrol unit, in saddle bags, backpacks, duffle bags on airlines. Still good when I gave away to some rookie to use. Have new pair with backup to share with grandkids. Issue Nikon would last couple years under rough use for other officers. Advice to them. Get Steiners, low cost, high quality.

Awesome rugged built and chrystal clear binoculars that come in a well built pouch with strong shoulder strap. Focus them in for each eye and from then on everything from 60 yards to infinity is in focus for you! Steiners have a lifetime warranty no matter if you're the original owner or not. The 8x30 are a great choice between the larger 7x50 and 10x50's.

First set it up for your eye sight. Take a look at an object from 200 meters and separately adjust your eye sight. Then every thing you see from 20 meters on will be on focus and good to go. I can't believe they are so good quality
