You get what you pay for.
I bought this as a temporary reel until another arrived. Upon opening, first thoughts are that it looks cheap, the plastic feels cheap and the finish isn't great. Pros: Small, and does seem to work okay, although, in my opinion, it is useless for any large fish caught-okay for small fish or just to use as a shoreline feeder only. Cons: Cheap in price and looks, feels cheap, not sure of the life on this, suspect not long. So, overall. You get what you pay for, as a thumb cast it seems to work, but it is far too small and flimsy for serious angling.
