Friulmodel Tiger Tank Tracks
Having tried the plastic Tamiya tank tracks and not liked the result I thought I would try the metal Friulmodel ones. They are quite time consuming but the strength of build is so superior and the weight adds to realism of final build. I used the "L" shape staple method of joining the individual tracks as opposed to the wire supplied. I drilled out the holes first to clean away any swarf as suggested and this is a good idea. Friulmodel Metal Tracks for German Tiger I ATL-06
I've long put off using white metal tracks but I planned on doing a SturmTiger and the Tamiya kit I have had individual link plastic tracks. Not wanting to use those I ordered a set of Friulmodel tracks. To put it simply, these tracks are nothing short of stunning. The set comes with 220 links (my set actually contained more) divided into two bags and a length of brass wire to use as the track pins. The individual links are crisply molded with no flash and all mold gates removed. All that is required is to drill the holes for the pins, insert the pin and clip the wire to length. I used a short cut with my set... I used standard staples with one of the short legs bent straight for the pins. The remaining bent leg is helpful to add or subtract links when fitting and when the proper length is achieved, just clip off the bent portion and push the pin in. A caution though... don't drill completely through on the wide part of the track. start a hole in that last section, but do not go all the way through. The pin will be held by this and not so all the way through. Once done, the tracks can be weathered with your choice of method and once installed the weight of the tracks give a realistic sag that is hard to achieve with individual link plastic tracks. I highly recommend Fruilmodel tracks for all armored vehicles where a realistic sag is required or where it is necessary to replace substandard plastic individual link tracks.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent 1/35 scale after market tank tracks
I have used Friulmodel Tracks on several of my 1/35 scale tank models. They are relatively easy to assemble and look great once they're on, especially on German Armor where the track you need to replicate the sag on the top portion of the overall track. Because they are metal and not plastic, you can use burnishing fluid to give then a weathered look. These are really good after market tracks and theirs a large variety to chose from.

The Gold Standard of aftermarket metal Tank Model Tracks. No Kiddin'!!
These metal tracks ROCK! I shy away from Armor kits with individual track links. Too tedious to make and I'm usually not so fussy about proper sag and fit. The simpler vinyl tracks of the Classic Tank model kit were fine for my purposes, UNTIL................. The Fruil Model 1/35 Tiger 1 tank tracks go together pretty well. The look amazing and give the Kit an amount of "heft" that is pleasing. They aren't over-engineered with 6 or 11 pieces to each link. I've always had a German Tiger Tank around. The last one I gave to a kid. Now it's time for another Tiger about my ship modeling space! . Price was fair, no complaints about the free shipping, packaging was superb, and arrival from Poland was surprisingly swift! In spite of other manufacturers cheaper plastic facsimiles, I chose FruilModel as the traditional "Gold Standard" of metal tank tracks this time. I'm a traditional Guy! Tiger mid Late Production track's.
Forget the rest these are the best. Make sure you've got a small hand drill with a 0.5mm drill bit just to open up the occasional hole which might have a tiny amount of burr. Great tracks
Easy to assemble. Great looking and very detailed. Excellent addition to any scale tank. I used an unbent staple to join the links per a recommendation on YouTube.
