Very disappointing
Unfortunately not worth the money. Chest was very poorly made from very thin wood panels, some of which were split where nailed to the frame. Assembly was ok but hinges for the lid were unable to fit to the back of the chest without bending them out of shape. Wooden batons for the frame for the lid were poorly cut and warped because of knots in the wood, two of which fell out to leave large holes in the frame. Front lid frame wood was so badly warped that it could not be used. As yet no replacement part forthcoming, although requested. It has proved very difficult to fix the felt to the lid because of the problems with the frame, one side of which has broken because of a knot hole and will not allow felt to be tacked securely. I'm afraid we would not buy again.
