Works brilliantly with larger eyepiece Scopes
I was struggling to find a universal adapter that was big enough for my Scope. Mine has a 55mm diameter eyepiece and most of the universal ones only went up to 48mm. I did think this was a little bit overpriced compared to the other adapters just for the sake of a bigger eyepiece but if you need it, you need it. I did buy a different type of adapter but could not get my phone to line up as the lens on my smartphone was right at the edge of the phone. There is no problem at all with aligning the camera lens on the scope with this adapter, wherever the camera is on the phone. Great for static subjects
The adapter with a smartphone can never be a substitute for a high quality telephoto lens and a camera. But for occasional use with static subjects it's a viable alternative. The images are crisp. Great digiscoping adaptor, excellent VFM.
This digiscoping adapter could not be easier to set up, and is then just as easily fitted onto (and removed from) the scope's eyepiece. I've had some good results already and look forward to many more. I had another maker's plastic adaptor before which was more expensive and not as good, very flimsy plastic.
