Hoover Linx is a a cordless vac with the power of a corded vac.
This cordless vacuum has lots of pick up power as well as the power head which can be used on carpet. The battery is long lived and the large dust/debris container is easily cleaned. The dust catcher at the top of the debris bin makes it possible to keep the finer dust in the container and still protect the motor. This Hoover Linx cordless vacuum is economically priced, but can do the work of corded vacuums costing more.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Disappointed
At first I was impressed - light, easy to lift and move from room to room - after only a few uses it won't pick up at all. I have taken it apart to empty and clean - the beater bar is so hard to clean. I don't have 150.00 to waste on an item that won't work. So disappointed!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The hilbilly
This little wonder is awesome. In the past I have pulled out the nice heavy vacuum pulled out the cord and plugged it in. It works fine until you reach the end of the cord, then you unplug it or maybe the plug comes out find another outlet to move to and go again. You can do a good job but in addition to the old heavy vacuum doing a good job, it is hard work and when you have finished you are wore out and it's break time. With the cordless lynx I went through my whole house in about 15 minutes, ended up not tired at all. This little wonder does an excellent job, it is very light and easy to push and powerful enough to do just as good of a job as the big heave corded vacuum. My BEST vacuum
This is the second one I have owned. I only bought a new one because the cord on the battery charger broke. On the newer version they have made the cord much heavier. I have given them a gifts because they are so amazing for the price and convenience. I have long haired cats and vacuum every day since it’s so easy, and light. Powerful Cordless Workhorse
Lightweight and powerful, this cordless workhorse get the job done! Works well on carpets as well as hard surfaces. Easy to clean and empty. Only downside is the cost to replace the Li battery, but it took a few years of daily use before needing to be replaced. I should mention this is my 3rd LiNX. Great buy!
Has surprisingly strong suction and easy to use in tight places. Great for tile and wood floors. Also on low pile carpet when you switch the roller on. Easy to clean and the battery warning light when getting low is a wonderful feature. Thank you Hoover "wind tunnel"!
Easy to use, light to navigate, and thorough. When I discovered that Hoover had a cordless vacuum that was also titled wind tunnel, I instantly purchased it. I new the suction would be excellent. The first thing I did with it was to vacuum some some lint off the rug. This was the same spot that I tried a number of times to vacuum with my "other brand " cordless vac. This time I know my purchase is "right on"! I also purchased an extra battery so that I would be able to finish what I started and not have to wait for the other battery to recharge so I could finish my work. Corded Version is Best
I owned this model vacuum for over 10 years and was completely satisfied with it's performance. Unfortunately the motor for the brush roll burned out. Also, unfortunately Hoover no longer makes this model. The cordless version that model does not seem to have the same power as the corded one. Great vacuum for tight places-nice and light-very portable
I really like this vacuum so far. It is light and can get to those hard to reach places. It seems to have good suction and is easy to empty. I do wish that it ran longer before needing a charge but like I said I use it for a quick clean up.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
